Introducere
Internet reprezinta mult mai mult decât o retea uriasa printre milioanele de calculatoare. El constituie o retea de retele si un mediu informational cu foarte bogate servicii si resurse, biblioteci, baze de date; este o imensa comunitate de persoane din toate domeniile economico-sociale, gata sa raspunda la solicitari. Aceasta retea ar putea fi comparata cu reteaua de telefoane. Dar, spre deosebire de aceasta, ea nu transmite convorbiri, ci liste de informatie electronica.
